Tech Device Tutoring for clients 65 and over (LA)
Understanding technology is something which challenges all of us, at one time or another. Haven't you ever found yourself at a coffee shop, witnessing how "those young people know how to do everything on their smartphones, tablets, i-Pads, laptops and notebooks?"
We invite you to bring your device and join us Friday, April 14, 2017 for an event which we are calling "Ask a 15 year-old," utilizing the tech knowledge that our Looking Ahead Program volunteers possess. You would be making a commitment for two hours, until 1:00 pm. We will serve lunch.
Please be aware of the following caveats:
1. The older your phone, notebook, i-Pad, laptop or smart device is, the less possibilities it offers, with regard to Internet access.
2. We will not be working with desktop computers.
3. The Actors Fund Looking Ahead Program youth volunteers will do their best to support your requests. We trust that you understand that they are volunteers, and not computer experts.
Prerequisite:
A pre-event interview will be required if you are new to us at The Actors Fund.
