Tracey Huffman is a successful commercial actress who, like so many others in our community, has no health insurance. As you can read in her personal note below, she is grateful for the respectful treatment and quality care she's received at our Al Hirschfeld Clinic free of charge. And we are grateful to your for the support that helps make this possible for Tracey and so many like her.

"I just wanted to drop a note and tell you I made my first visit to the clinic last week. I lost my health insurance last year, and with the economy the way it is, it is such a blessing to have access to this facility.

And what a facility! Clean, beautiful, staffed by friendly and more than competent folks.

As in all my dealings with The Actors Fund and The Actors Fund Work Program, I never for a moment feel like a loser or a beggar because I needed assistance. I received health insurance counseling and was encouraged to make appointments for a mammogram and annual exam.

I am, as always, so very proud to be a member of the unions that receive such tremendous support from The Actors Fund.
