The Actors Work Program is a terrific partner for STARRR (Substitute Teachers for the arts and 3 R’s).  The folks who work there understand that our schools can offer actors both work and Work.  The small work helps clients pay the rent, it’s true, but the big Work is the impact Theater Arts can have on the lives of kids.  AWP is a reliable source for finding professional theater people who have a capacity and commitment to teaching in the public schools.
