Program DescriptionThis service is provided by Local 802 for its members and their families. The program is administered and professionally staffed by The Actors Fund. The Musicians’ Assistance Program (MAP) goal is to provide the support that will help Local 802 members to perform with the highest artistry and productivity, while minimizing any interruption to their work. All of MAP’s services are strictly confidential and are free of charge. Services include:
EligibilityAll
members of Local 802 and their families are eligible to receive these services. Eligibility for financial assistance from
Local 802’s ERF is based on current membership in good standing and a minimum
of one year’s membership. Regardless of whether a member meets the ERF eligibility, the MAP will help members to apply for financial assistance from other organizations.
