Please join us for the sixth annual Healing the Dancer seminar hosted by The Dancers’ Resource of The Actors Fund and featuring key-note speaker Mark Dendy. Mr. Dendy has a rich and varied career in experimental dance theater, performance, opera, improvisation, cabaret, night clubs, Broadway, off-Broadway and regional theatre. In his new work, Labyrinth, he uses his story of triumph over significant medical and personal issues to inform his artistic work. Mr. Dendy will be sharing a portion of that work with us.
Additionally, we are pleased to welcome a panel from The Harkness Center for Dance Injures who will present their programs and services.
The seminar is FREE and open to professional dancers and those who serve them. Beverages and a light snack will be served.
