Educational Opportunities Fest – 2012 will focus on the wide variety of educational opportunities that are available to you in the Greater Los Angeles Area:

  • Explore education and training opportunities that will enhance your career 
  • Develop strategies on how to accomplish your goals 
  • Discover degree and certificate programs you can pursue, as you work in entertainment
  • Learn about smart ways to finance your education 
  • Speak with representatives from area schools and colleges

1:00 – 2:00 pm | Keynote Address: Enhancing Your Career Through Further Education & Training 

2:15 – 3:30 pm | Career Panel:  Making Education Work For You  

  • Mark Pracher, Dean, Sponsored Programs & Resource Development at West Los Angeles College
  • Featuring a College Director of Financial Aid
  • Joanne Divito, Administrator for Los Angeles, Career Transition for Dancers, West
  • John Mattson, Director of The Actors Work Program at The Actors Fund, Panel Moderator

 2:00 – 5:00 pm | Education Fair – Location: Promenade of Museum Square Building – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

  • Representatives from the following Los Angeles area colleges and schools have been invited to discuss their certificate and degree programs, as well as financial aid that may be available.
