Springboard for the Arts

A nonprofit agency whose mission is to help self-employed creative people make a living in the 14 counties around the Twin Cities and into western Wisconsin. Springboard administers the Artist Loan Fund, a low-interest revolving loan fund for artists; and the Emergency Relief Fund, which offers up to $500 to artists who have had a career-threatening calamity. Also provides information on locating low cost health care.

The J. Happy Delpech Foundation

The J. Happy Delpech Foundation provides grants of up to $250 to artists in the Midwest with AIDS or serious illness. The fund has no website, but can be reached by mail at J. Happy Delpech Foundation, 1579 North Milwaukee, Suite 211, Chicago, IL 60622, or called at 312-342-1359.
