Behavioral Health Treatment Services Locator

A confidential and anonymous source of information for persons seeking treatment facilities for substance abuse/addiction and/or mental health problems.

Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, New York City

Provides quality health care and related services primarily to New York's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community regardless of ability to pay. Services include primary care, mental health/social services (including Substance Use Assessment and Referral & support groups), HIV/AIDS services, oral health, senior health and more. Uninsured, low-income patients are offered on-site financial screening, referral and enrollment assistance. Fees are on a sliding scale.

Find A Health Center

HRSA Health Centers care for you, even if you have no health insurance – you pay what you can afford based on your income. Health centers provide services that include checkups when you are well, treatment when you are sick, complete care when you are pregnant, and immunizations and checkups for your children. Some health centers also provide mental health, substance abuse, oral health, and/or vision services.

HHC Options

The uninsured can seek care at NYC's public hospitals and clinics. Fees are reduced based based on income and family size.

Hill Burton Facilities Obligated to Provide Free or Reduced-Cost Health Care

Free and reduced-cost health care is available to people who cannot afford to pay. Hill-Burton assisted facilities include hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care facilities.

New Orleans Musicians Clinic (NOMC)

Offers occupational and comprehensive health services for musicians, performers, and tradition bearers of New Orleans (Mardi Gras Indians, Social Aid & Pleasure Club Members). NOMC serves any patient over the age of 19, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. The NOMC also accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and GNOCHC/Free Care.

Performing Arts Medical Association Referrals

Performers seeking health care for their performance-related injuries or problems may search for PAMA members in geographical locations or find specialists who care for performers in particular areas of the performing arts.

QueensCare Health Centers

Offer quality health services to patients in need, regardless of their ability to pay. 

Saban Community Clinic

Serves individuals and families with low cost primary medical care, dental care, pediatrics, prenatal care, and behavioral health care at three convenient locations in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles.

The Center For the Performing Artist

Offers a full comprehensive and integrated health care service tailored to the artist's needs. The Center's specialists have particular expertise and experience evaluating and treating the performing artist, and provide access to the full range of specialties available at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center.

The Harkness Center for Dance Injuries

Offers a variety of medical services including weekly dance injury clinics staffed by orthopaedic surgeons and physical therapists specially trained in dance medicine; a newly renovated, state-of-the-art sports physical therapy center; a 7-days a week, 8am - 12am Immediate Care Center, and several off-site physical therapy centers.

Community health centers that provide comprehensive, affordable, culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate primary and preventive health care services. Affordable sliding scale fees available to the uninsured.
