Free Tax Assistance Centers

This page of nyc.gov lists free tax preparation sites citywide that can help New Yorkers who qualify claim the Earned Income Tax Credit. Comsumers can file for the EITC for the past three years if they haven't claimed it already.

Office of Financial Empowerment (OFE)

Aims to educate, empower and protect those with low incomes, so they can build assets and make the most of their financial resources.
