THE HOMECOMING

The Homecoming

The Homecoming
The Actors Fund Special Performances

“It really is that good!  IAN MCSHANE is dazzling in Harold Pinter's masterpiece. The fine cast also includes benchmark performances by the remarkable RAUL ESPARZA and EVE BEST, who is an absolute knockout. MICHAEL MCKEAN gives a beautifully calibrated, heartbreaking performance as the proper, dutiful Sam. And the relatively unknown GARETH SAXE and JAMES FRAIN are superb as the dopey, brawny Joey and the disdainful, uxorious Teddy."
- Ben Brantley, The New York Times

Actors Fund Special Performances have been thrilling audiences for 80 years with an electric energy unlike any other night of theatre!  What makes a Special Performance so "special"?  Each year, Broadway companies generously give their time and talent by adding a ninth performance to already rigorous schedules to benefit The Actors Fund.

We are delighted to acknowledge, with deepest appreciation, the ongoing support The Actors Fund receives from the Broadway community.  Please join us in giving a round of applause to the unions, producers, theatre operators, and members of the following organizations who make Special Performances possible by waiving their compensation to help The Actors Fund continue its vital work:

  • Actors' Equity Association
  • Associated Musicians of Greater New York, Local 802 AFM
  • Association of Theatrical Press Agents and Managers
  • Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers
  • United Scenic Artists Union
