We mourn the passing of Honey Waldman (1926–2013)
Our beloved Trustee Honey Waldman, theatrical producer and theatre owner died Sunday, December 8, 2013. She will be missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly. Her lengthy entertainment career and sizeable charitable efforts were always focused on the welfare of the performing artist. Read more.

Wavedancer Helps The Actors Fund Help Readers
Thank you to The Wavedancer Foundation, which has selected The Actors Fund as the recipient of a $67,000 grant to help audio book readers who are in temporary financial distress due to illness, accident or other unforeseen circumstances. Founded by best-selling author Stephen King, the Wavedancer Foundation was inspired by actor and audio book narrator Frank Muller. Following a motorcycle accident in 2001, Muller suffered severe head trauma and eventually died in 2008. Muller was widely praised as one of the most talented narrators of audiobooks, having recorded for authors such as Stephen King, John le Carré, John Grisham and Elmore Leonard. Read more.
