Our Chairman on CBS Live From the Couch!

Fund Chairman Brian Stokes Mitchell was up early to visit with CBS Live From the Couch’s John Elliot! He shared details on his new album Simply Broadway (and warmed hearts with his voice)! Stokes also gave John the scoop on his upcoming charitable concert tour and Fund efforts to help those in need post-Sandy. Watch the interview and hear Stokes perform from Simply Broadway.

In the few short weeks since the storm swept through the Northeast, we’ve received 538 calls for help from hard-working professionals in the arts and entertainment industry.

We’ve already provided more than $205,000 for those in need post-Sandy, and more calls for help come in every day. Your gift today could help pay for food, clothing, shelter or medicine this holiday season. On behalf of our Chairman, thank you for giving what you can to help those in need!

You support creativity and imagination and the spinning of dreams into gold. And, most importantly, you support a community. You help move a community forward. You join the community. Join us.”

Shonda Rhimes, the award winning creator, producer and writer of TV shows Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice and the hit show Scandal, wrote this impassioned letter of support for The Fund’s Marquee. Read Shonda’s letter of support.
