Lillian Booth Home Receives Highest Rating from NJ Dept of Health & a Feature Piece on NJTV!

njtv
Great things are happening in Englewood, NJ! The Fund’s Lillian Booth Actors Home was given the best possible news this week by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, upon completion of the annual survey—NO deficiencies! The survey team arrived almost two months earlier than expected, but Administrator Jordan Strohl and his staff were prepared and pleased to share their work and records with the inspectors. In their report, the Survey Team commented on how well run The Home is and how happy and satisfied the residents are on the whole. They noted the consistent, high quality work delivered by staff in individual departments including Nursing, Environmental Services, Food Services, Activities, and Social Services. Congratulations to everyone at The Home on this very important recognition.

And earlier last month, NJ Today’s Madeline Orton filed this piece on The Home, featuring a talk with Chairman Brian Stokes Mitchell, Home Social Services Director Lucy Seligson, and interviews with an array of residents, including veteran Broadway actress Aideen O’Kelly, who said she was happily "Home, sweet home." View the entire piece on NJTV’s website.
