The Actors Fund helps...

John Wilson, resident of The Lillian Booth Actors Home.

John is just one of The Home's many wonderful residents with incredible stories from decades of work in entertainment. After getting his start at the old Metropolitan Opera House, he went on as a Local 1 member for an astounding career backstage, working for a whole array of theatres, ballet companies, and more. Also a Vietnam veteran, John moved into The Home in March—he'd recently lost a leg due to the effects of Agent Orange—and he's quickly become part of its vivacious community. Watch a video of John’s story.

Donate today to support our amazing community of seniors in entertainment.

Palm View Resident Pride—

Thank you Christopher Street West!

On June 10-12, residents of our Palm View housing in West Hollywood enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the 41st Annual LA Pride Celebration, thanks to the generous donation of access tickets by the Board of the Christopher Street West Pride Association, a non-profit service organization within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community.

The majority of our HIV+ residents live on a fixed income due to various disabilities, and free access to the festivities helped them to feel like a part of the community. View photos of LA Pride at the Christopher Street West website at: www.lapride.org. Visit our website for more information on our affordable and supportive housing opportunities in West Hollywood, Brooklyn and Manhattan!
