Nickelodeon Welcomes Looking Ahead

On May 1, more than 450 young professional performers and family members gathered on the grounds of the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank for the Looking Ahead Program’s largest outreach event since it was founded in 2003. “Pic@Nick” was a day of carnival games, food and fun, and included an enlightening celebrity panel, hosted by Advisory Committee Chair Fred Savage, featuring Sara Gilbert, Patrick Labyorteaux, Phill Lewis and Jaleel White. Special thanks to the day’s sponsors: AGF Media Services, Believe in Dreams Foundation, Coca Cola, Corner Bakery, the Osbrink Agency, Screen Actors Guild, Variety and, of course, Nickelodeon. Celebrating Edwin Forrest Day

Thanks to all of the Edwin Forrest Society members who gathered at events in New Jersey and Los Angeles to mark Edwin Forrest Day 2011. The annual gatherings celebrate Edwin Forrest, the great 19th century Shakespearian actor and humanitarian who, upon his death, left most of his estate to found a home to care for entertainment professionals as they aged.

Our 2011 Revlon Run/Walk teams raised nearly $20,000!

Our teams gathered to participate in the Revlon Run/Walk for Women this spring. Walking in honor of our friend Lynn Redgrave, our teams raised nearly $20,000 to support The Fund's Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative—one of the Run/Walk's 10 beneficiaries. And it's not too late to donate—click here to make your pledge.
