The Actors Fund helps...

Jesse, through The Dancers' Resource.

We recently sat down with New York City-based dancer and teacher Jesse Factor, who came to The Dancers' Resource after an injury in the fall of 2010. (Founded by Trustee Bebe Neuwirth, this unique program guides dancers through the financial and physical challenges they often face from a career in dance). Click here to watch a video of Jesse.

Donate today and help dancers and other performing artists in need.

Five Questions for...

Bebe Neuwirth
Bebe Neuwirth

Our exciting Annual Gala is coming up on May 23, where we will honor Bebe Neuwirth, Al Pacino and Michael J. Stengel and Marriott International. We recently sat down with Bebe, a Tony and Emmy Award winning actress, 12-year trustee of The Fund and founder of The Dancers' Resource. Currently starring as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family—and as the lead salesperson of Morticia's Nails (the limited edition polish trio benefiting The Fund)—Bebe took some time out to answer our questions. Read the full interview.

For tickets to the May 23 gala evening, call 212.627.1000 or email actorsfund@resevt.com. For more information and updates, please visit www.actorsfund.org.

Remembering Elizabeth Taylor

We fondly remember the talented and generous Elizabeth Taylor who passed away on March 23. A two-time Oscar winner, her career boasts an array of classic American films, and her compassionate and courageous work on behalf of people living with HIV/AIDS was inspiring. On behalf The Fund's HIV/AIDS Initiative, we thank Dame Elizabeth for lending her voice to this critical issue. She will be sorely missed.

Give today to help people living with HIV/AIDS.

Mother / Daughter Art Show

On April 4, Bebe Neuwirth and her mother, artist Sydney Neuwirth, along with Bebe's husband Chris Calkins, presented "The Mother/Daughter Art Show" at the Rogue Space | Chelsea. Dancers' Resource client Jesse Factor spoke eloquently about the help he received from The Fund. This one-night benefit sale of Bebe's photographic prints and Sydney's paintings of ballet dancers raised much-needed funds for The Dancers' Resource. Thank you Bebe, Chris and Sydney!
