Marketing and Lease-Up Services

The Fund is also committed to assisting other organizations who provide housing to those in need with marketing and other resources.

The Gotham Organization: In 2012, The Actors Fund and Breaking Ground were selected by the Gotham Organization to develop and implement the marketing plan for 682 affordable apartments within the Gotham West project on West 45th Street in Manhattan. The partnership was then responsible for the tenant selection and lease-up process for 250 low-income affordable units. In 2016, The Actors Fund and Breaking Ground also managed the marketing of the 282 low, moderate and middle income units at 250 Ashland Place in Brooklyn.

The Related Companies: In the fall of 2014, The Actors Fund provided marketing services to the Related Companies for their new buildings in Long Island City, Hunter’s Point South Commons and Hunter’s Point South Crossing. The developments contain 925 units of affordable, low-, moderate-, and middle-income housing. The Fund assisted Related with outreach to the arts and entertainment communities, as well as other local businesses.

Site 7: In 2017, The Actors Fund is scheduled to provide rent-up and marketing services for Clinton Housing Development Corporation at 540 West 53rd Street for 103 moderate- and middle-income units.
